Admission Procedure
1. Application Submission:
- Applications for admission to the Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) and Master of Social Work (MSW) courses must be submitted in the prescribed format provided by the institution within the notified deadline.
- Applications must be accompanied by relevant certificates and the admission fee.
2.Eligibility Criteria:
- For BSW Part-I: Candidates who have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) examination or an equivalent examination are eligible.
- For MSW Part-I: Graduates from any recognized university are eligible.
3. Admission for Non-RTM Nagpur University Students:
Students from institutions other than RTM Nagpur University must produce an eligibility certificate from RTM Nagpur University before admission. Such candidates are also required to pay the prescribed fee to the University.
4. College Uniform (Dress Code):
- For Girls: Cream-colored kurta with black salwar/leggings.
- For Boys: Black trousers with a cream-colored shirt.
Students are required to wear the uniform daily.
5.Cost of Prospectus-cum-Application Form:
- For MSW: Rs. 100
- For BSW: Rs. 20
The prospectus and application form can be obtained from the institution from the date of HSSC and university result declaration, either in person or by post upon payment of the specified fee.
General Rules and Regulations
Compliance with RTM Nagpur University Rules:
- All admissions are subject to the rules and regulations of RTM Nagpur University. Final admission is contingent upon meeting eligibility criteria and submitting the required original documents.
Fee Policy:
- Fees once paid are non-refundable under any circumstances.
- Timely payment of fees is the responsibility of students/parents. Late payments will incur penalties as decided by the management.
Request for Certificates:
- All requests for certificates, testimonials, or other documents requiring the principal’s signature must be submitted in writing to the college office.
- Applications for certificates such as Bonafide, Transfer, Conduct, or Age certificates must be made on the prescribed form available in the college office and accompanied by a search fee of Rs. 20.
Attendance Requirement:
Students must maintain at least 75% attendance to be eligible to appear for university examinations.
Mandatory Test Examinations:
- Participation in test examinations conducted by the college is compulsory. Students failing to appear for these tests will not be allowed to take the university examinations.
Prohibited Activities:
- Smoking, consuming alcohol, or using intoxicating drugs is strictly prohibited on campus.
- Eve-teasing or engaging in any anti-social activities will result in severe penalties, including expulsion from the college.
